The confetti had barely reached the floor before the trash-talking began.

The University of Connecticut men’s basketball team tweeted just moments after its 60-54 win over Kentucky in the NCAA championship Monday night, taking a shot at rapper Drake, who’s an avid Wildcats supporter.

The snarky tweet references the hip-hop artist’s popular song, “We Made It,” which hit airwaves in December 2013.

Drake cemented his allegiances earlier this week when Kentucky head coach John Calipari posted a photo on Instagram of the rapper congratulating the Wildcats on their Final Four victory over Wisconsin on Saturday.

Looks like he picked the wrong locker room.

As for the Huskies, they have good reason to brag. UConn became the first No. 7 seed in NCAA tournament history to win the championship and now is 4-0 all time in national title games.
