If Mario Balotelli’s latest haircut doesn’t horrify Liverpool fans, it might bring him closer to them.
Balotelli shaved the iconic Liverbird — the symbol of the city of Liverpool, England — into the side of his head. The Liverbird features on one side, while there are blonde and black streaks on the other side. A blonde mohawk goes down the middle of the Liverpool striker’s head.
Balotelli revealed his new look on Instagram.

Balotelli’s new haircut could advance his potential candidacy for the title of “King of Liverpool.” Scoring a goal or three in Saturday’s Merseyside derby against Everton would do far more to help Balotelli in that regard.
