Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders left Sunday’s game against the St. Louis Rams after taking a violent hit from Rodney McLeod.
Sanders laid out to haul in a deep pass from Peyton Manning in the third quarter when the Rams safety delivered the crushing blow.

Sanders immediately left the game and is being evaluated for a concussion.
The hit was flagged for 15 yards as an illegal hit to the head of a defenseless player.
UPDATE (3:21 p.m.): Sanders indeed suffered a concussion on the play and has been ruled out for the remainder of today’s game.
