Hassan Whiteside’s night came to an early end Monday when the Miami Heat big man was ejected for a hit from behind on Boston Celtics center Kelly Olynyk.

Officials initially called a common defensive foul on the play, which came late in the third quarter, but upgraded it to a flagrant 2 upon video review.
It was Whiteside’s second ejection in a week, with the other coming after he form-tackled Phoenix Suns big Alex Len. No other Heat player has been thrown out of a game this season, and Whiteside’s immaturity seems to be causing some tension in the Miami locker room.
Veteran guard Dwyane Wade sounded particularly displeased when speaking with reporters after the game, which the Celtics went on to win 100-90.
