Patriots Training Camp To Open July 29; First Public Practice July 30

Fear not, New England Patriots fans: Football season is only one month away.

Training camp begins Wednesday, July 29, with the first public practice set for Thursday, July 30, on the fields behind Gillette Stadium. The team will practice once per day and has confirmed practices scheduled through Sunday, Aug. 2. The practices are expected to be held in the morning, but times have not yet been confirmed.

Practices are free and open to the public, though fans planning to attend are encouraged to check Patriots.com/trainingcamp daily for updates regarding the schedule. Further dates will be posted online when they’re confirmed.

New England’s first preseason game is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 13, against NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers at Gillette Stadium.
