Real Madrid and James Rodriguez didn’t need much time to return to form in the new season.
James scored a pair of stunning goals Saturday in Real Madrid’s 5-0 win over Real Betis, the teams’ second La Liga (Spanish first division) game of 2015-16. The Real Madrid midfielder scored both within 10 minutes of each side of halftime, showcasing his mix of skill and imagination.
James notched his first goal of the season by striking a powerful free kick off the post and into the goal in the 39th minute. James’ free kick made the score 2-0.

Real Madrid might want to look to James more often in dead-ball situations.
