Anthony Martial was enduring a Manchester United debut to forget until he decided to steal headlines.
Martial, 19, scored Saturday in the closing stages of Manchester United’s 3-1 win over Liverpool. In one flowing move, Martial demonstrated the speed, skill, daring and composure which prompted Manchester United to make him the most expensive teenager in history earlier this month.
Fans were still drooling over Christian Benteke’s 84th-minute wonder-goal when Martial ran at Martin Skrtel just two minutes later. What he did next will live on in Manchester United lore for years to come.

Martial must score more goals in the coming years in order to justify the eye-popping transfer fee Manchester United paid Monaco for his services, but what better way is there to start than this?
