It was a Super Bowl atmosphere in Buffalo on Sunday.
Bills fans had every intention of making Ralph Wilson Stadium as unfriendly as possible for the New England Patriots, but their homemade signs and noise were no match for the defending Super Bowl champions. The Patriots fell behind by a touchdown early but recovered to survive with a 40-32 win.
Despite the Bills pulling with five points late in the fourth quarter, the game was a letdown in more ways than one for Buffalo fans. Not only did the Bills lose the game, but the fans also came up short of their goal to break the Guinness Book of World Records’ mark for crowd noise. The loudest Ralph Wilson Stadium ever got was 124.8 decibels, well short of 142.2, which is the official record.

It appears Tom Brady gets to relish shutting up another opposing fanbase on the road.
