Not only are the Chicago Cubs leaving Kyle Schwarber’s home run ball atop a Wrigley Field scoreboard, they’re turning it into some sort of exhibit.
Reports surfaced Wednesday that the Cubs would leave the ball Schwarber absolutely obliterated in Game 4 of the National League Divisional Series atop a Wrigley video board, which is where it ultimately came to rest.
Not only have the Cubs confirmed the ball will stay up there for the rest of the playoffs, they’re going to some pretty extreme lengths to ensure it goes nowhere. The Cubs actually released a video showing them encasing the ball atop the scoreboard, even gluing down the case.

Why they’re actually doing that, we’re not entirely sure, but people are talking about it, so good for the Cubs.
