The Internet is good for a lot of things. Calm, level-headed reactions are not one of them.
Hence, Green Bay Packers fans now are convincing themselves that quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ girlfriend, actress Olivia Munn, is the reason for their fearless leader’s poor play and winless record in the team’s last three games.
In other words, Munn is the Yoko Ono of the NFL.
Everything seemed to originate in the comments section of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel following the Packers’ most recent loss to the Detroit Lions.
Is there an Olivia problem????

It all starts with the quarterback. His new girlfriend's either giving him too much or too little!

ESPN Packers beat writer Rob Demovsky noted that coach Mike McCarthy believes Rodgers might be trying to do too much, but then lists five other reasons the quarterback could be struggling. Demovsky really fanned the flame with this:
Possible off-field issues?: A longtime NFL agent told me recently that when he sees one of his top-performing clients play differently, as Rodgers has of late, the first thing he wonders is if something is going on in his personal life. There’s no indication that Rodgers’ relationship status has changed. Lions reporters said they spotted Rodgers’ girlfriend, actress Olivia Munn, at Lambeau Field on Sunday. Sometimes it’s easy to forget that professional athletes have lives away from the field, and you never know what could be going on in their personal lives.
We’ve got ourselves a forest fire.
I have a feeling Olivia Munn is doing something wrong to have Aaron Rodgers playing so bad. He is just not himself!

I am going to start a “Break up Aaron Rodgers and Olivia Munn” GoFundMe campaign. Enough is enough. #Packers

God has taken his hand of blessing off the Packers cuz Olivia Munn talked about her and Aaron Rodgers' sex life. Would bench Rodgers too

Craig doesn’t think he could focus on football, either.
Cynthia agrees.
The funniest part about all this distraction business is that President Barack Obama just recently told Bill Simmons that he compares himself to Rodgers because of the quarterback’s ability to stay calm under pressure.
This rumor won’t flame out until Rodgers and the Packers start playing well again, but given the team’s crop of injuries, that might not be until 2017.
