Kate Upton didn’t arrive alone to the Met Gala on Monday night. She brought her engagement ring with her, too.
The 23-year-old model showed off her new ring on the 2016 Met Gala’s red carpet, and she confirmed to E! News that she’s engaged to Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander.
“I’m really excited, he asked me right before season started so we’ve been keeping it on the down low for quite a while,” she told E! News. “So I’m excited to finally be able to share it with the world.”
It appears the right-hander didn’t hold back when picking an engagement ring.

Verlander, 33, and Upton have been dating for roughly three years, and now they’re taking the next step.
