President Barack Obama attended his final White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday night, and in his speech, he poked fun at several different people.
One of them was Ted Cruz, a Texas senator running for president in the Republican party. Cruz recently took some criticism for calling a basketball hoop a “basketball ring,” which is a huge gaffe in a basketball-crazy state such as Indiana.
It was the subject of one of Obama’s jokes.

Obama is a huge basketball fan, and he recently did a series of mentoring videos with reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors.
