The Boston Celtics made a trade during Thursday night’s 2016 NBA Draft, it just wasn’t the blockbuster deal fans were expecting.
The Celtics dealt a pair of second-round picks (Nos. 31 and 35) to the Memphis Grizzlies for the Los Angeles Clippers’ 2019 first-round pick, per Jeff Goodman of ESPN.
Memphis owned this Clippers pick from a previous trade.

With the 31st pick, Boston selected a Michigan State’s Deyonta Davis for the Grizzlies.
