Brock Lesnar Doesn’t Hold Back About Jon Jones Doping Drama At UFC 200

LAS VEGAS — Brock Lesnar now is the UFC 200 headliner, but he isn’t 100 percent thrilled about how it happened.

“It’s unfortunate. It’s unprofessional,” Lesnar said Thursday at T-Mobile Arena.

Lesnar, of course, was referring to Jon Jones being pulled from UFC 200 because of a potential doping violation. That elevated Lesnar’s Saturday night heavyweight fight against Mark Hunt to the main event, to which the WWE superstar said: “Merry Christmas to Brock Lesnar.”

If Lesnar is feeling any more pressure now that he’s the main fight on UFC’s biggest night, he didn’t show it Thursday. He decided not to work out in front of the T-Mobile Arena — Hunt did, though — and he sounded calm, cool and collected in answering questions from the media during an impromptu press conference.

“Some days I like to think I’m superhuman,” Lesnar said. “That’s just the way I walk this Earth.”
