Could Dwight Howard really be coming to Boston?
The Celtics are rumored to have Al Horford atop their big-man board now that NBA free agency is underway, but one of their reported targets, Timofey Mozgov, already agreed to a massive contract with the Los Angeles Lakers.
With ridiculous dollar amounts being handed out and the marketplace already beginning to thin, a Howard-to-Boston scenario suddenly looks more plausible. In fact, it seems Howard officially has a meeting planned with the Celtics, according to ESPN.

Take that news as you wish.
Howard, 30, certainly has shown signs of decline, and his attitude has been his biggest issue, even as he put up MVP-caliber numbers and led the Orlando Magic to an NBA Finals. But if Boston — or any other team, for that matter — can land Howard on a reasonable contract (under the max, two years or fewer), he might be worth the gamble.
