Kevin Durant met with two of his potential suitors Friday when free agency began, and it seems he had two very different meetings.
First, the Oklahoma City Thunder star met with the Golden State Warriors, who most pundits seem to agree are the favorites to land the 27-year-old should he leave OKC.
That might have changed.

Durant then met with the Los Angeles Clippers, who don’t seem to have the cap space to be able to sign Durant but still wanted to pitch him on the idea of a “Big Four” with Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan.
Apparently things went well.

It was a long meeting, too.
Kevin Durant’s meeting with the Clippers is over after four hours. Will meet with Spurs and Celtics tomorrow.

Oddly enough, it seems Paul wasn’t there.
Steve Ballmer, Doc Rivers, Lawrence Frank, Blake Griffin & DeAndre Jordan were @ KD meeting. KD impressed by vision & direction of franchise

It’s never a bad thing to impress the No. 1 free agent on the market.
Durant still has three meetings remaining with the Boston Celtics, San Antonio Spurs and Miami Heat. He’s expected to make a decision by July 4.
