Kevin Durant still is a free agent but he is “strongly considering” one of the six teams he has met with. But while his statusĀ remains up in the air, at least we know where he likely will make hisĀ eventual announcement.
Hearing Kevin Durant is strongly considering Warriors. He meets Thunder tonight, then he's likely to announce decision on @PlayersTribune.

As Basketball Insiders’ Alex Kennedy points out, Durant is a “deputy publisher” for The Players’ Tribune, so it’s no surprise he likely will use the website for the occasion.
But even though the ball seems to be in the Golden State Warriors’ court, the Boston Celtics’ signing of Al Horford reportedly is a plus for the C’s in the KD sweepstakes.
Nothing is decided. He could return to OKC, and he did like BOS adding Horford. But he is seriously considering GS. https://t.co/O0faz6mPxD

And perhaps the latest sign the Warriors are near the top of Durant’s list is a reported phone call he had Saturday with Golden State executive Jerry West.
NBA source: Kevin Durant had a phone conversation with Warriors exec Jerry West yesterday.
