We already know who one of the New England Patriots inactives will be for their Sunday matchup against the New York Jets.
The Patriots announced Saturday night that rookie cornerback Cyrus Jones had been downgraded to out for the game because of an illness.

This won’t be the first time Jones has been inactive this season. He also didn’t play in three consecutive games following his ejection from the Patriots’ Oct. 9 win over the Cleveland Browns. The 2016 second-round draft pick has spent time as a kick and punt returner, too.
Unlike Jones, tight ends Rob Gronkowski and Martellus Bennett, quarterback Tom Brady, and wide receivers Chris Hogan and Julian Edelman all traveled with the team to New York, despite their injuries. Defensive end Jabaal Sheard also made the trip, a source told the Boston Herald’s Jeff Howe, one week after being a mysterious healthy scratch against the San Francisco 49ers.
ESPN’s Dianna Russini provided the latest reports on Brady (knee) and Gronkowski (chest) earlier Saturday.
Rob Gronkowski made a lot of progress in the last 24-48 hours, I spoke to 2 sources, they are calling it a “true game time decision”.

Sources also add they are planning for Tom Brady to play, but that will also will be a game time decision. They will check him in pre-game.
