UFC Fight Night Sacramento Results: Michelle Waterson Tops Paige VanZant

Paige VanZant never had a chance in this one.

Michelle Waterson dominated the UFC Fight Night Sacramento main event, which she won with a rear naked choke at 3:21 in the first round.

It sure looks like the strawweight division has a new contender in Waterson.

But that was far from the only big fight at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena.

Mickey Gall, who made a name for himself when he destroyed CM Punk earlier this year, earned a submission victory over Sage Northcutt, who likes to break apples with his own hands. Gall won the fight, which involved plenty of trash talk, with a rear naked choke.

The feel-good story of the night was “The California Kid” Urijah Faber, who won the final bout of his career with a unanimous decision victory over Brad Pickett.
