WWE SummerSlam 2017 Live: Brock Lesnar, Finn Balor Highlight Event In Brooklyn

10:59 p.m.: Time and time again he proves he’s one of the best to ever do it. Brock Lesnar guts out an incredible victory to retain his WWE Universal Championship.

10:52 p.m.: They don’t call him the Beast Incarnate for nothing. Brock Lesnar is making his way back to the ring!

10:48 p.m.: After being planted underneath an announcer’s table, Brock Lesnar has been hauled out of the arena via stretcher. The champion is out of the match, but the fight goes on.

10:45 p.m.: Yes, that’s Brock Lesnar underneath that announcer’s table. Yes, Braun Strowman is a freak of nature and master of destruction.

10:43 p.m.: One unlucky announcer will be forced to stand for the remainder of the fight.

10:42 p.m.: The list of people who can manhandle Brock Lesnar is very small, but Braun Strowman is on that list.

10:36: What happens when four monsters of men share one ring in a battle for the WWE Universal Championship? Let’s find out.

10:23 p.m.: The Singh Brothers do their job and distract Shinsuke Nakamura, giving Jinder Mahal just enough time to spin his opponent around and connect on the Khallas. The era of the Modern Day Maharaja continues.

10:13 p.m.: If you thought the challenger would be afraid of the champion, think again.

10:05 p.m.: Shinsuke Nakamura sure knows how to work a crowd, but can he outwork Jinder Mahal in the ring and become the new WWE Champion?

9:55 p.m.: There’s not much hope for you after A.J. Styles connects on a Phenomenal Forearm and a Styles Clash. The United States champion successfully defends his title.

9:54 p.m.: Kevin Ownes thought he had just won the United States Championship, but Shane McMahon took back his three-count after realizing A.J. Styles had gotten his foot on the ropes.

9:50 p.m.: AJ Styles gets Kevin Owens to tap out, but a dazed Shane McMahon is hobbled outside of the ring and is unable to rule the submission.

9:46 p.m.: Shane McMahon is going to feel this one in the morning.

9:41 p.m.: Kevin Owens is 266 pounds, so this definitely did not feel good.

9:34 p.m.: Refereeing isn’t part of Shane McMahon’s usual duties, but he’ll be tasked with officiating a bitter matchup between Kevin Owens and A.J. Styles.

8:56 p.m.: The Demon King likely will cause nightmares for Bray Wyatt for some time. Finn Balor erases The Eater Of Worlds with a violent Coup de Grace.

8:48 p.m.: Finn Balor is showing no regard for his body in this one.

8:40 p.m.: The fireflies are out and about in Brooklyn as Bray Wyatt makes his way to the ring for a battle against Finn Balor.

8:31 p.m.: Sasha Banks will leave the Barclays Center with more jewelry than she came in with.

7:20 p.m.: John Cena always performs on the biggest stage, and the 16-time world champion continued that trend by finishing off Baron Corbin with an AA.

7:15 p.m.: A chokeslam into a backbreaker? How in the world did John Cena kick out?

7:05 p.m.: The main card is underway and we’re kicking things off with Baron Corbin taking on John Cena, who’s been a part of the SummerSlam card for 14 consecutive years.

5:00 p.m. ET: The WWE’s biggest pay-per-view event of the summer finally has arrived.

SummerSlam returns to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for what should be one heck of a show. This year’s matchup card features eight championship fights, highlighted by the Fatal 4-Way main event, which pits Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman and Samoa Joe in a battle for the WWE Universal Championship.

But there’s also a slew of exciting non-title fights, including Big Show vs. Big Cass, with Enzo Amore suspended above the ring in a shark cage. All things considered, you won’t want to miss tonight’s show, and we’ll have you covered throughout the evening with live results and highlights from start to finish.
