The Miami Dolphins’ purge apparently will continue Monday.
The Dolphins, according to ESPN’s Jeff Darlington, plan to release defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh on Monday. Darlington later noted it’s possible the formal release could come Wednesday.

Upon his release, Ndamukong Suh will have pocketed ~$60 million over three years from the Dolphins. That was the fully guaranteed portion of the six-year, $114.4 million deal.

Darlington notes the move is part of a “culture change” in Miami, the latest in a growing line of big-name departures from the Dolphins. The team traded running back Jay Ajayi during the 2017 season, and just last week agreed to a trade sending wide receiver Jarvis Landry to the Cleveland Browns.
The Suh decision comes roughly three years after they signed the defensive tackle to an enormous six-year, $114 million contract. The 31-year-old played in all 16 games for Miami in 2017, recording 4.5 sacks and 29 tackles.
