Just because Rob Gronkowski might be mulling retirement from the NFL doesn’t mean he’s not the same-old Gronk.
The New England Patriots tight end spent St. Patrick’s Day like most people, slightly inebriated and dressed as a leprechaun.
Gronkowski, who was non-committal about his football future after the Patriots’ Super Bowl loss, apparently crashed a bachelor party Saturday while looking like a mythical man of mischief from Irish folklore.
Unbeknownst to Gronkowski, he crashed the bachelor party of CBS Sports’ John Breech, who tweeted that Gronk said “he could play for the 69ers” next season.
Sounds like Gronk.
The 28-year-old also apparently gave some Patriots fans good news about his potential retirement.
I'm drinking at my bachelor party, so roll with this as you will… but Gronk was in the booth next to me at a bar, told a Patriots fan he WASN'T retiring. My dad (all-time leading scorer for Bengals) talked to him. Told him I was media, said TBD on retirement

As Breech noted, take all this with a grain of salt as countless beverages are involved in St. Patrick’s Day. But it sounds like Gronk might be leaning toward one more run with the Patriots.
But that’s still “to be determined.”
