It was a rough night for rising star Paige VanZant at UFC Fight Night Las Vegas.
Rose Namajunas completely dominated VanZant on Thursday night in their main event strawweight bout, winning the match via submission with a rear-naked choke at 2:25 in the fifth round.
Despite the loss, VanZant did show a lot of heart in the match, highlighted by this incredible reversal earlier in the match.

Boston native John Howard also suffered a loss in one of the preliminary matches, when he was knocked out by Tim Means at 21 seconds in the second round.
