The Cavaliers will try to make good on some unfinished business this season by finally bringing the city of Cleveland a championship. But for at least the beginning of the season, it looks like they are going to have to play without point guard Delonte West.
West's status for the season opener against the Celtics has been ruled "doubtful" by head coach Mike Brown, The Boston Globe reports. And according to Brown, general manager Danny Ferry will decide when to activate West.
West has been practicing with the team and participated in the Cavs' Tuesday morning shootaround, but has still not spoken with the media since his offseason problems involving an arrest and charge of domestic violence.
