Report: Jarvis Green Out Indefinitely After Knee Surgery The depth of the Patriots' defensive line got some good news and bad news this week. The good news was that Ty Warren is feeling OK and expects to play this week against the Dolphins. The bad news is that Jarvis Green won't be joining him.

The 30-year-old defensive end is out indefinitely due to surgery on his knee, according to the Boston Herald's Ian Rapoport.

According to the report, Green won't be placed on season-ending injured reserve — at least for now — as the surgery may have been a scope.

In seven games, Green has 18 tackles and no sacks. In his eight-year career, he's made 214 tackles and 27 sacks.
