That's got the rumor mill spinning wildly on Wednesday morning, with The New York Times reporting that the Knicks are interested in the 30-year-old, who is in the final year of his contract.
"I think you always have to be intrigued with somebody the stature of Tracy McGrady," Knicks head coach Mike D'Antoni told the Times, which reports that the team has been making inquiries about McGrady "for several months."
McGrady is currently on an indefinite leave from the Rockets after he complained about his playing time, as he is averaging just 7.7 minutes in his six games played this year. He's coming off microfracture surgery in February.
