While the Bruins looked focused on fine-tuning their game on the ice on Friday, the main focus in the dressing room were the Olympic semifinal games. There was plenty of smack talk going on among the players.
"I just did some trash-talking with Timmy [Thomas] texting," said Tuukka Rask, whose native Finland will play Thomas and the United States today. "It should be a really good game though and I'm looking forward to watching it."
Marc Savard was in prediction mode, saying that the USA will win in overtime and his native Canada will win by "at least a couple goals."
Daniel Paille (Canada) and Matt Hunwick (USA) were ribbing each other as well, but both agreed that this Olympic tournament has been amazing.
"It's great hockey, I'll tell you that," Paille said.
"When's the last time you saw hockey highlights on SportsCenter?" Hunwick added. "It's great to see, and I can't wait for the games."
