The Super Bowl MVP customarily receives two honors besides hoisting the Lombardi Trophy — a Cadillac and a trip to Disney World. Saints quarterback Drew Brees won’t be getting the keys to a new car (Cadillac discontinued its Super Bowl sponsorship), but he did visit the "Happiest Place on Earth."
Brees participated in the Parade of Champions at Disney World around noon on Monday, a day after completing 32 of 39 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Saints to a 31-17 victory over the Colts in Super Bowl XLIV. He was joined at the Magic Kingdom by a few teammates and his now nationally known infant son, Baylen.
The 31-year-old signal-caller’s whirlwind victory tour will head to New York for a taping of The Late Show with David Letterman, before returning to New Orleans for the elated city’s celebratory parade on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
