Carmelo Anthony could be one signature away from leaving Denver.

Although Anthony has expressed his desire to play for either the Knicks or Bulls, he might have to settle for playing on the other side of the Hudson River, according to multiple reports.

ESPN and Yahoo are reporting that the Nets, Nuggets, Jazz and Bobcats are close to finalizing a four-team deal that would send the Nuggets star to New Jersey.

Under his current contract, Anthony will become a free agent at the end of the season. However, he has refused to sign the Nuggets' offer of a three-year, $65 million extension, prompting the Nuggets to shop him around the league. If he decides to sign a long-term deal with the Nets, the deal will most likely go through, but the Nets will not take Anthony if he doesn't commit to an extension.

Here's who could end up where if the complicated deal goes through:

Nuggets
Derrick Favors, Andre Kirilenko, Nets protected 2012 first-round pick (via Warriors)

Nets
Carmelo Anthony, D.J. Augustin

Bobcats
Devin Harris

Jazz
Boris Diaw
