In their first week as participants in the NESN Daily Grid Picks, two NESN Daily insiders — David Givens and Max Lane — posted perfect weeks.
It gives the duo the inside track to win the NESN Daily Grid Picks as the winner will now be based on winning percentage.
This isn’t exactly bad news, though, for the NESN personalities already in the contest. Givens and Lane weren’t the only ones with perfect weeks. Kathryn Tappen is making a push toward the top after a 5-0 week gives her a .657 winning percentage.
Jerry Remy continued his hot streak rattling off a 4-1 record and now sits in third place with a .686 winning percentage. Early slip ups for the new contestants will put the Rem Dawg right back up at the top of the standings.
Naoko Funayama had an impressive 4-1 week and sits at .629 while Heidi Watney and Uri Berenguer round off the NESN personalities with matching .571 winning percentages.
