John Wall Does ‘The Dougie’ Before Home Opener, Misses Triple Double by One Steal

It hasn’t taken very long for John Wall to let us know that he’s going to be a showman — or that he’s going to back up his antics on the court.

Before the Wizards’ home opener, Wall used his introduction to do “The Dougie” — a dance that is sort of 2010’s “Crank That Soulja Boy” — for upwards of 30 seconds.

Thereafter, he went on the court and put up 29 points, 13 assists and nine steals, missing the unconventional triple double by a single theft.

“The security guy told me I need to dance to get the crowd into it,” Wall told the Associated Press. “So I did it for them.”
