Despite the recent reports on Mark Sanchez's female companions, the New York Jets' quarterback only has his eyes set on the Lombardi Trophy.
On Monday night, Sanchez co-hosted a Victoria's Secret Pink event in New York with Giants running back Brandon Jacobs and Victoria's Secret models Chanel Iman and Erin Heatherton. The setting was a bit of an ironic place to fend off questions about his dating life, but Sanchez only offered one insight.
"I have a full-time girlfriend — the New York Jets," Sanchez told the New York Post.
After a shutout loss to the Packers, Sanchez is smart to focus on football. Avoiding dating gossip early will help the young star throughout his career. That way, if the Jets get bounced in the playoffs, he won't have to hear Tony Romo-esque criticisms about his love life.
Sanchez's next test will be in Detroit against the Lions on Sunday.
