FOXBORO, Mass. — Right tackle Sebastian Vollmer was a surprising absentee from the Patriots' practice Thursday, while right guard Dan Connolly has been cleared for contact and shed his red, non-contact jersey.
Running back Danny Woodhead and center Dan Koppen wore non-contact jerseys for the second consecutive practice, which was held outside in full pads again.
Tight end Aaron Hernandez, linebacker Jermaine Cunningham, defensive lineman Eric Moore and defensive lineman Mike Wright were also missing from Thursday's session.
