It was an exciting week of playoff football but an ugly week for the NESN Daily Grid Picks crew, as a pair of upsets on Saturday shook the layout of the contest with just three weekends to go.
If not for leader David Givens' bold move of choosing the Seahawks in a home upset, the former Patriots wide receiver would have gone 0-4 on the week. Both Givens and current second-place contestant Max Lane went 1-3, allowing Tom Caron, who went 2-2, to gain some ground heading into the second round of the playoffs.
Uri Berenguer and Naoko Funayama joined TC with a 2-2 record. Jerry Remy, Heidi Watney and Kathryn Tappen all went 1-3, along with the fans.
