Tom Caron Puts Faith in Pete Carroll, Tightens Race in ‘NESN Daily’ Grid Picks With Perfect 5-0 Week

It takes a certain level of confidence to back Charlie Whitehurst in a must-win game, but that’s what Tom Caron had, as he capped off a 5-0 week with his pick of the Seahawks on Sunday night.

TC was the only NESN Daily Grid Picks participant to pick Pete Carroll‘s squad, giving TC a boost heading into the playoffs.

Uri Berenguer went 4-1. The rest of the field, excluding Kathryn Tappen, went 3-2. Tappen had a rough week at 2-3.

Former Patriot David Givens called for an upset of his former team on Sunday, but Tom Brady taught him a lesson with a 38-7 shellacking of the Dolphins at Gillette Stadium. The loss didn’t cost Givens too much, though, as Max Lane missed his pick in the Jaguars-Texans game.
