Pitchers and catchers are set to report in two weeks, but the Red Sox are still putting the finishing touches to complete their rosters across the organization.

Red Sox general manager Theo Epstein announced the signing of four free agents on Wednesday, inviting all four players to Boston's Major League Spring Training Camp as non-roster players.

The four signees are right-handed pitchers Matt Fox and Tony Pena Jr., catcher Paul Hoover, and infielder Hector Luna. Each player has been designated to the Triple-A Pawtucket roster.

All four players have seen time up at the major league level, and Fox spent a very brief stint in the Red Sox' bullpen, throwing just 1 2/3 innings of relief over three games with Boston last season. The righty, 28, also started one game for the Minnesota Twins in 2010, allowing four hits and two earned runs across 5 2/3 innings. He also posted a 6-9 record with a 3.95 ERA in 35 appearances with Minnesota's Triple-A affiliate.

Pena split 2010 between San Francisco's Double and Triple-A clubs, posting a 3-2 record with six saves over 35 relief appearances. He went on to play in the Dominican Winter League in the offseason, recording a 2-0 record with a 2.78 ERA with Aguilas Cibaenas. Pena's father, Tony, was a catcher for the Red Sox in 1990-93.

Hoover saw nine games behind the plate for the Phillies in 2010, posting six starts across a 5-1 stretch with the team. The 34-year-old batted .227 with two doubles and two RBIs in his major league stint in Philadelphia last season.

Luna split his time between the Marlins and the Triple-A New Orleans club in 2010, earning Pacific Coast League All-Star honors midway through the year. The infielder batted .294 in New Orleans, tallying 16 home runs and 71 RBIs. In his 27 games with Florida, Luna recorded a .138 average with two home runs and four RBIs.

The four signees join the 20 non-roster invites to the Boston Major League Spring Training Camp, which kicks off in Fort Myers, Fla., on Feb. 19.
