In a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal, Vick talked of his journey through the past few years, reminiscing of how he dealt with prison life, and his subsequent fall from grace.
Regarding his past, Vick said, “I wouldn’t change anything about my life if I could.
“As crazy as this may sound, going to prison really changed my life. I was able to go in and come out with a plan.”
The interview also addressed his recent endorsement deal that he signed with Unequal Technologies, the company that makes Vick’s pads.
Vick still has the star power to draw a large crowd, though, as Unequal CEO Rob Vito said that after the announcement “We had about 10 million hits on the website, and I was on CNN.
“We had so many hits, it crashed our site.”
The partnership between Vick and Unequal Technologies marks one of the first endorsements for the former MVP since his prison sentence.
So while Vick returns to the spotlight, he says he’s using the previous experiences to motivate himself to become a better person day to day.
