Mississippi High School Baseball Player Caleb Walker Scores on Unbelievable Slide at Home Plate

As a high school athlete, it's not every day that you can make national headlines, and it generally takes some creativity.

Mississippi baseball player Caleb Walker had plenty of that on Tuesday, as his unbelievable slide home was caught on video, and it's since spread like wildfire around the web, thanks to a video circulated by MSNBC.

Walker plays for Tupelo, which was playing South Panola, when he was running toward home and looked to be a dead duck. It was then that he slid, popped to his feet and seamlessly vaulted himself over the catcher, landing on his two feet right on home plate.

It wasn't just for show, either, as it helped propel Tupelo to a 7-2 victory.
