The Mets have been the subject of some strange storylines in baseball this year — from scandals with ownership to problems with the players. And there appears to be no end in sight for the team from Queens.
The Mets, once again off to a lackluster start, are now the butt of advertising jokes, CNBC sports business anchor Darren Rovell noted while sitting in traffic.
