Vote: Which Tampa Bay Lightning Goaltender Do Bruins Fans Want to See Start Game 5? Tampa Bay Lightning head coach Guy Boucher pulled his starting goaltender, Dwayne Roloson, for the second time in the Eastern Conference final in Game 4 after he allowed three first-period goals. Mike Smith came on in relief and was impressive, stopping all 21 shots he faced and creating some debate as to who should get the nod in Game 5 on Monday.

Boucher has insisted that Roloson is his No. 1 goaltender, and for good reason. The 41-year-old entered the series as arguably the hottest goalie in the NHL and was a major reason why the Lightning were able to easily dismiss the Washington Capitals in the second round. But he’s faltered a bit in this series, opening the door for Smith.

Smith has stopped all 29 shots he’s faced this postseason, and rejuvenated the Lightning after a subpar first period on Saturday. But the experience edge goes to Roloson.
