Dustin Pedroia Hits Longest Home Run of Career in 14-2 Rout of Blue Jays The Boston Red Sox have won nine games in a row and have taken 14 of their last 16 overall. This weekend in Toronto, the explosive offense went off to maintain the current streak.

Boston put up 35 runs in the weekend series against its AL East opponent. Dustin Pedroia had six RBIs by himself.

Along with a solid weekend at the plate, Pedroia reached a personal milestone with his homerun in the fifth inning. The two-run shot eclipsed the 400-foot mark for the first time in the second baseman's career.

The official home run tracker listed the shot at 415 feet, a new career best for Pedroia.
