Kenny Dalglish has already made some impressive moves on the transfer market this offseason for Liverpool.
Dalglish brought in midfielder Jordan Henderson from Sunderland on June 8. The 20-year-old signed what was reported as a long-term deal worth around £20 million, according to LFC.tv
Now, Dalglish and Liverpool are again the frontrunners to land another young talent.
Barcelona FC's Jeffren Suarez has ruled out a rumored move to Italian Serie A club Udinese. According to Talk Sports, Liverpool is the leading candidate to sign the 23-year-old who is said to have more interest in playing for a English club.
Jeffren, as he is known, has struggled to earn a starting role for Barca as he sits behind Lio Messi and David Villa, two of the world's top strikers.
With the exit of Fernando Torres, Liverpool has struggled to produce offensively and the acquisition of Jeffren could bring the team back to the top-four of the Barclay's Premier League.
