Vote: How Much Longer Would You Keep the Celtics' Big Three Intact? July 2007 was a big month for the Celtics organization and their fans. On July 2, Ray Allen was introduced as the newest Celtic. At the end of the month, Kevin Garnett joined Allen and Paul Pierce and the "Big Three" was born.

After a 66-win regular season, top seed in the NBA and 4-2 series win over the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals, Pierce, Allen and Garnett gave Boston its 17th banner as the newest trio to grace the parquet floor in 2008.

Three seasons later, however, the Celtics still have just that one banner. The move that brought Allen and Garnett to Boston was supposed to be the start of a dynasty. Although the Celtics came within one win of a second championship in 2010, the aging big three have left questions for Celtics fans.

With head coach Doc Rivers remaining at the helm, Pierce, Allen and Garnett have one more year together under contract. If the decision is to stay with the Big Three for one more year, Danny Ainge will need to add a lot of help for his superstars.
