Report: Liverpool’s Milan Jovanovic Will Learn of Potential Transfer By Tuesday

Liverpool striker Milan Jovanovic said he will know by Tuesday whether or not he will be transferred to Anderlecht of the Belgian Pro League, according to the Liverpool Echo.

Jovanovic is unlikely to feature much for the Reds this season and has gotten minimal playing time during the club's preseason matches. As a result, his services have been shopped around the football world with Anderlecht as the leading candidate to take the 30-year-old.

"On August 2, I will know whether or not I will move to Anderlecht," Jovanovic told a Belgian newspaper. "Then I have a meeting with the board. The interest is serious and the board really wants me. There is a big chance an agreement will be made."

The Serbia native made 18 appearances for the Reds last season and scored two goals. He took to the pitch in the 2010 FIFA World Cup for his home country and scored the game-winning goal in Serbia's 1-0 victory over Germany in Group D match play on June 18.
