Report: Hideki Irabu’s Death Certificate Says He Committed Suicide by Hanging Himself

When Hideki Irabu was found dead a few weeks ago, reports surfaced that Irabu's death was an "apparent suicide," but there were no other details.

TMZ reports that Irabu's death certificate lists hanging as the immediate cause of Irabu's death, and the certificate also lists "self-inflicted with rope" as the description of the cause of death.

Irabu pitched for the New York Yankees, Montreal Expos and the Texas Rangers during his MLB stint. He appeared in 126 games and gathered a career ERA of 5.15.
