The Jets may have missed out on signing Nnamdi Asomugha, but Gang Green was able to re-sign Antonio Cromartie — the very player Asomugha was going to replace in the Jets’ secondary.

Cromartie signed a four-year, $32 million deal according to The Associated Press. Cromartie is expected to be at the Jets practice facility on Monday.

“Ok guys taking off c u guys at Florham Park…God Bless u all…Jet sailing 2 be a JET,” he tweeted early Monday morning.” Goodnight 2 some and good morning to others I’m out.”

Over the weekend, the Jets signed wide receiver Plaxico Burress to a one-year deal. Last week, the team re-signed wideout Santonio Holmes to a five-year deal but lost out on quarterback/wide receiver/kick returner Brad Smith over the weekend, as the slash player signed a reported four-year deal with the Bills.
