Bruins' Stanley Cup Defense Under Way As Team Opens Up Training Camp in Front of Anxious Fans at TD Garden (Photos) It's been three months since the Bruins were skating around Rogers Arena in Vancouver with the Stanley Cup raised high above their heads. And while the team's accomplishment is still fresh in the minds of fans, the Bruins are ready to get back to work and defend their title.

The B's opened up training camp at TD Garden on Saturday in front of a largre crowd that's undoubtedly anxious for the upcoming season. The fans were able to watch the players take part in a number of drills on the afternoon, which helped quench their thirst for hockey.

In years past, the opening sessions of training camp have generally been an attraction that only a handful of diehards have elected to attend. But with fans still enjoying the emotional high that only a Cup victory can provide, much of the arena's lower bowl was filled on Saturday.

The drills provided some memorable moments, including the first opportunity to see captain Zdeno Chara and first-round pick Dougie Hamilton play alongside each other.
