It kind of seems that way, with an innocent little trade rumor blowing up into a full-fledged news story in a matter of one day.
It started as a note by Chris Broussard, who said the C's would be willing to trade Rondo for a scorer. It's since ballooned into several scenarios, some of which have Chris Paul or Russell Westbrook somehow ending up in Boston. The most ludicrous scenario comes from another report by Broussard, who said Ainge tried to trade Jeff Green and Rondo to Oklahoma City for Westbrook and … Kendrick Perkins!
