The Bruins and their fans were fired up for Saturday's showdown with the Canucks, and the emotions boiled over more than once.
In the only matchup of last spring's Stanley Cup Final participants, the Bruins and Canucks did not disappoint. Milan Lucic and Gregory Campbell were among the many who dropped the gloves in Boston's 4-3 loss.
Vancouver may have come away with the win, but with goalie Roberto Luongo sitting this one out and numerous Canucks declining to engage in further fisticuffs, the Bruins probably came away with more pride.
