We all remember the first time we led our favorite team to the championship in franchise mode of a sports video game. We imagined a city full of Sims-like people losing their marbles while our little pixelated figures piled on top of each other on a recreated infield.

Well, at least that’s what I did.

In a commercial for MLB 12 The Show, the city of Chicago erupts with joy when the Cubs end their 104-year World Series drought. The celebration is pretty much as you’d imagine it — and a excrutiating tease to long-suffering Cubs fans.
